1. Who we are

These notices are effective as of September 16, 2026. They apply to https://hello-i-am-here.com, The Couch, companion care, vibe rooms, listener sits, and related software, copy, audio, and artwork (the "Service"). The operator is Hello. I Am Here.. Questions: info@hello-i-am-here.com.

Hello. I Am Here. is the controller of personal data collected through the Service, except where we process data solely as a processor for an organization under the Data Processing Addendum.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, role, password records, Stripe connected-account identifiers, and payout-readiness flags for listeners.

Sit data: schedule choices, session identifiers, chat transcripts, companion journals you choose to share, presence timestamps, and feedback or tips.

Support data: inbound and outbound mail to info@hello-i-am-here.com and Couch mailboxes, resource-list ZIP or location if you provide it, and device/browser data needed to run the site.

We do not sell personal data as a marketing list.

3. Why we use it

To book and run sits, route payments through Stripe, notify listeners, keep File Cabinet records you or the law require, operate companion care, send and receive mail, secure the Service, and defend legal claims.

4. Confidentiality limits

Sits are treated as confidential, but we may disclose information if required by law, court order, safety obligations, or required reporting, or if you ask us to share a companion journal with a listener.

5. Processors

Cloudflare hosts the Worker, Email Service, and optional KV cache. MongoDB Atlas (when configured) is the records database. Stripe processes payments and Connect onboarding. We do not let processors use your sit content for their own advertising.

6. Retention

Filed sits, companion journals you share, appointments, and mail may be kept for continuity, quality review, tax, and legal obligations. Guest sits may be stored by date and subject without a legal name. Actual chat from a room is filed in the File Cabinet on The Couch when a transcript exists. It is not downloaded to a computer.

7. Your choices

Email info@hello-i-am-here.com to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to legal holds and listener/safety records we must keep. Do not use the Service to submit another person's sensitive data without a lawful basis.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child used the Service.
