  Hello. I am Here is a listener service for emotional support and is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

• Not licensed mental health professionals

  Some listeners may have clinical background and/or education. On Hello they operate only in a non-clinical or peer role. A sit is not therapy or a clinical session. Hello does not claim that every listener is a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or other licensed mental health professional, and no listener provides clinical services here.

• No medical or clinical advice

  This service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical recommendations. If you have a mental health concern, seek help from a licensed professional.

• Confidentiality notice

  Conversations are treated as confidential and will not be shared without consent except as required by law, court order, safety obligations, or required reporting rules.

• Record retention

  Filed sits, coop notes a client chooses to share, and appointment records may be kept for continuity, quality review, and legal obligations. Guest sits can be stored by date and subject without a legal name. Actual chat from a room is filed in the File Cabinet on The Couch, not downloaded to a computer. Records are not sold as marketing lists.

• Limitations on use

  This service is for general emotional support only and is not intended for crisis intervention. In a crisis or immediate danger, call 911, 988, or local emergency services.

• Truth-in-advertising and referrals

  Hello. I am Here does not guarantee outcomes or cures. Any referral compensation or material connection should be disclosed, and testimonials must be reviewed for legal and advertising compliance before use.

• State-specific disclosures

  Consumer protection, advertising, confidentiality, and non-clinical service disclosure rules can vary by state. Service language and notices may need state-specific review before launch in each market.

• E&O

  Listeners are independent contractors and must carry their own professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance while accepting sits. Minimum coverage is $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate. Hello. I am Here., LLC does not put listeners on a group policy and does not reimburse the premium. A certificate of insurance naming Hello. I am Here., LLC as certificate holder is required before the first sit.

• 1099 Structure

  Listeners are independent contractors, not employees. Paid sits go through Stripe Connect. Contracted listeners receive ninety percent of a paid sit. Each listener is responsible for their own taxes and for any 1099 or other tax form Stripe or Hello. I am Here., LLC issues. This is not tax advice.

• Competitor comparison

  Hello. I Am Here. is a paid human listening sit, not therapy, stranger roulette, or a bot. One-time sits are $15 for 15 minutes or $30 for 30 minutes. Membership is optional. Some listeners have clinical education; they sit here only in a non-clinical, peer role, with their own E&O. Hello does not claim to be better treatment than licensed therapy, better crisis care than 988 or 911, or always on. The September 24, 2026 brief is in the footnotes index and as a downloadable PDF.

• Welcome Sunday hours

  On the last Sunday of every month, from 11a to 4p Central, you can get one free 15-minute sit. Free sits are not offered on any other day, or outside those hours.
